The Ainsworth girls basketball team took home its second win of the season during the Summerland Holiday Tournament. The team hadn’t seen a victory since its 41-36 win over the Gordon- Rushville Mustangs on December 6.

Dawgs End Dry Streak

The Ainsworth boys basketball team competed in the Pleasanton Holiday Tournament on December 22 and 23. The Dawgs took on the Pleasanton Bulldogs in the opening round of the tournament.

The Ainsworth girls basketball team competed in the Pleasanton Holiday Tournament on December 22 and 23. The team was down a starter for the tournament after Gracyn Painter injured her ankle in the team’s game against Broken Bow the week prior.

The Ainsworth boys basketball team hosted two home games last week, one against the Valentine Badgers on Tuesday, December 16, and the other against the Broken Bow Indians on Friday, December 19. Valentine held the Dawgs to 25 points.

The Ainsworth girls basketball team faced tough opponents Valentine and Broken Bow last week. Against Valentine, the team fell 33-72.
