The 2022 Fonner Park State 4-H Horse Expo was held in Grand Island, NE at Fonner Park July 9th-13th. Over 350 youth ages 10-18 from over 50 counties brought more than 600 head of horses and competed in educational and riding opportunities.

Doane University Athletics is pleased to announce the Doane and Pflieger-Olson GPAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2021-22 academic year. To receive both honors, a studentathlete must be a participant in their sport for the full year and hold a 3.30 grade point average.

As a physician with 45 years of practice, I’ve seen my share of diseases. I have usually been on the physician side of the diagnosistreatment paradigm. However, knowing the rationale for diagnostic screening tests, I fortunately did not shirk my own.

The program Spectacular Stars, Magnificent Moths Nocturnal Insects will introduce visitors to the process of “moth lighting.” In moth lighting, a large bright light bulb and white bed sheet are set up.
