Ainsworth Art Guild Spring Show Enters Final Week

The annual show of Ainsworth Art Guild opened on April 9th at the Ainsworth Public Library. Hailey McBride, art teacher at Ainsworth Community Schools, judged thirty pieces of artwork that were entered in the show.

Primary Election Deadlines

Just 12 days remain on the countdown to the 2022 Nebraska Primary Election on Tuesday, May 10th. The Nebraska State General Election will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Ainsworth Lions Club Meets and Discusses Upcoming Projects and Events

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Ainsworth Lions Club was held at 6:30 p.m., April 18th, 2022, at Canyon Creek. Fourteen members and one guest were present. Lion President Beatty opened the meeting, and lead the Pledge. Lion Roland Paddock lead the prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were approved. Lion Fuchs presented the Treasurer’s report.

Ladies Golf Association Meeting Ladies interested in playing League Golf at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course should attend the Wednesday, May 4th meeting at the golf course to get your team signed up. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.

Does Drove #54 Host “Candyland” Themed Daddy-Daughter Dress Up Dance on April 23rd

Ainsworth Does Drove #54 hosted its annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, April 23rd. This year’s theme was based on “Candyland,” with lots of balloons, candy and other snacks on hand throughout the evening for munching on. They had a great turnout, with girls aging from toddlers to high school girls. The girls, dads and some grandpas had a great time enjoying the evening together.
