Word has been received of the death of Elsie Leigh Acord, age 90, of Ainsworth, NE. A public visitation was held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. A Funeral Service and burial will occur at a later time in Yampa, CO. Leigh Acord died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Cottonwood Villa in Ainsworth.

Funeral Service for Alice Marie Keim, age 89, of Ainsworth, NE will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Marie Keim died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth.

Kathleen “Kat” McFarlin was born to William and Mary Lee (Edwards) McFarlin on March 22, 1953 in Des Moines, IA. She passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, NE at the age of 70 after a short illness.

Services will be held at a later date of Jane Williams, age 83 of Ainsworth. Jane Williams died Tuesday, December 19, 2023) at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE.

Esther J. Miller of Cozad, formerly of Ainsworth, NE, left her earthly home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

William Wayne Sanger was born August 31, 1941, in Bassett NE to Eldon and Zerelle (Peterson) Sanger. He passed away on December 6, 2023 at Bassett.

Marilyn K. Holmberg was born on May 15, 1951, in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Dr. Harry E. and Margaret (Leary) Holmberg. Marilyn passed away peacefully in Ainsworth, NE, on October 28, 2023, at the age of 72.

Funeral Service for William W. “Bill” Sanger, age 82, of Bassett, NE was held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Methodist Church in Bassett. Burial followed in the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery.

Gary Lee Bonefield, 84, of Belle Fourche, SD, died December 3, 2023 in Plano, TX surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Gary was born February 16, 1939 at Songberger Maternity Home in Belle Fourche, SD to William and Gladys (Wolden) Bonefield.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Mickey M. “Mick” Goodrich, age 79, of Long Pine, NE. Mick Goodrich passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE.
