Gary Lee Jones, age 70, was born December 2, 1952 to Lyle “Jack” and Dorothy E. (Allen) Jones of Ainsworth, NE, the fourth of five children. He passed away August 3, 2023 near Wewela, SD in a motorcycle accident.

Elda Marie (Crooker) Kenton passed away on July 20, 2023 at Hastings, NE. No services will be held per her request.

Ronny Donald Roggasch was born to Dennis and Eleanor (Davis) Roggasch at Atkinson, NE, on October 27, 1967. He passed away at his residence in Papillion, NE on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 55 years, nine months and five days.

Memorial Service for Gary L. Jones, age 70 of Ainsworth, NE, will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. A Private Family Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Highland Grove Cemetery north of Ainsworth. Gary Jones died in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, August 3, 2023 near Wewela, SD.

Joni was born September 9, 1964 in Hopkinsville, KY and passed away July 12, 2023 at the age of 58. She was the last of five children born to Donald and Lenore Shepperd.

Edward Dean Parker was born on February 6, 1955 and let go of this life to be free of pain on July 11, 2023. He was born to Glen and Hazel (Christensen) Parker in Broken Bow, NE, joining two siblings, to be followed by two more.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Sharon Lee Davison (Swett, Haszard) went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2023. Sharon Lee Davison was born on March 7, 1938, in Casper, WY.

A Memorial Service for Edward D. Parker, age 68 of Johnstown, NE, was held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth, NE. Ed Parker died Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, NE.

Ralph Leroy Mefferd, Jr. was born September 1, 1932, to Ralph L. Mefferd, Sr. and Dorothy (Dodds) Mefferd in the Ainsworth, NE hospital. He died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Western Nebraska Veteran’s Home in Scottsbluff, NE.

Leona Fern Harp was born on September 10, 1938 on the Indian Reservation at Mission, SD to Guy E. and Bessie C. (Parsons) Harp. She attended schools in the Brown County area up to the 7th grade which at that time she was needed at home to help her ailing father. Leona married Raymond E. Biltoft on June 16, 1958 at Hot Springs, SD. To this union three children were born - Danny Ray, Peggy Sue and Mary Lou. Le- ona was baptized in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her pet bird, Charlie and her embroidery work. She made numerous quilts, pillows and pillow cases for many people. Leona enjoyed visiting with her friends and married relatives. She passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society in Atkinson, NE.
