Vernon H. Wood, Jr., aka “Woody,” was born on January 21,1948 in Elkhart KS, to Vernon Wood and Evelyn (Hughes) Wood. He was the oldest of three siblings: Francis (Joe) Brockman, Jere and Mary (Rich) Lehn.

Michael “Mike” Jeff Jefferson, known to some as “Critter” or “Ekim”, was born to Jeff and Shirley (Duffield) Jefferson January 23, 1958, in Ainsworth, NE. He passed away in the early morning of January 28, 2022, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE at the age of 64 years.

Richard Lee “Dick” Gambill was born to Kyle and Dorothy (Mink) Gambill on March 12, 1936 in Battle Creek, NE. Dick passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, NE at the age of 85.

Tillie Ellen Lowe Narciano was born on May 19, 1939 to Henry and Pina (Baum) Lowe on the Springview Ranch. She passed away at Lincoln Hillcrest Firethorn Rehabilitation Center on January 16, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

A memorial service for Richard L. “Dick” Gambill, age 85 of Johnstown, NE was held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth. A Private Family Inurnment will be held on the family ranch south of Johnstown. Dick Gambill died Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth.

Duane Clair Keim was born July 21, 1932 to Clair and Delores (Lewis) Keim at Ainsworth, NE. He passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 89 at the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care Center in Bassett, NE.

Gerald W. Allen Jr. of Ainsworth, NE passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth at the age of 90. Jerry was born in York, NE on December 2, 1931, the eldest of four children to Gerald and Louise (Terry) Allen. He attended Creighton Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1950. One special accomplishment during his high school career was earning the Eagle Scout rank. While a senior in high school, Jerry set the school record for the 880-yard run in track, a record that he held for 25 years. He also won the gold medal at the State Track Meet in 1950. After high school, Jerry attended Doane College for two years before he enlisted and served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany and enjoyed traveling while on leave. After his service, Jerry attended the University of Denver where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
