Men’s League Golf is nearing the end and a new team has taken over first place in the Ainsworth Men’s League Golf on Thursday, August 19th. The team of Vance Heyer, Joel Klammer and Jade Egle moved into first place with a team score of 61 points.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs Boys and Girls Cross Country teams kick off their season at their home invitational on Thursday, September 2nd. Athletes for the 2021 season include: (Front Row - Left to Right): Coach Hansmeyer, Preselyn Goochey, Maren Arens, Alyssa Erthum, Katherine Kerrigan, Emma Kennedy, Tessa Barthel and Coach Osborn; (Back Row - Left to Right): Daniel Cole, Corbin Swanson, Ty Schlueter, Trey Appelt, Ben Flynn, Tom Ortner, Atley Titus, Logan Schroedl, Angel Ajin and student manager Gavin Olinger.

Cross Country Boys and Girls Teams Ready to Kick Off 2021 Season

The Bulldogs Cross Country teams are ready to kick off their 2021 season at their home invitational on Thursday, September 2nd. A new middle school coach, Jessica Kempcke, and a new assistant coach, Lauren Osborne, join Head Coach of 15 years Jared Hansmeyer for the season.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs volleyball team is ready to hit the court on Tuesday, August 24th at Valentine for the Jamboree against Cody- Kilgore. Four returning athletes are on their fourth year as varsity starters for the Bulldogs. They previewed their skills in a scrimmage on August 19th.

AHS Bulldogs Among 76 Nebraska Schools to Register with NSAA for Girls Wrestling Program

The Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education voted unanimously on August 9th in favor of registering with the NSAA to add Girls Wrestling as a separate program at AHS for the 2021-2022 season. The deadline to register is September 1st.

AHS Girls Golf to Return Three Seniors for Start of 2021 Season on August 19th

Ainsworth High School’s Girls Golf Team will hit the road on Thursday, August 19th when they travel to O’Neill for their seasonopening invitational. The AHS Girls Golf head coach is Heather Lutter, who now has eight years of coaching girls golf under her belt.
