Ainsworth High School Golf Team Has Been Busy

The weather hasn’t been ideal for golf, but the golfers hit the links anyway. Ord Invitational On April 6th, the AHS team traveled to Ord for the Ord Invitational.

The Ainsworth Track Teams competed in the O’Neill Invitational on April 15th for their second track meet of the week. First place finishes were posted by three Ainsworth athletes.

Jacob Held placed sixth in the Boys Middle School 100 Meter Dash.

Windy, cool weather greeted track teams at the Sandhills Invitational Track Meet in Bassett on April 6th. Both high school and middle school teams competed since the original high school meet was postponed due to weather.

Valentine Golf Team Wins Ainsworth Quadrangular

The Valentine Boys Golf Team shot a team score of 197 to take the Ainsworth Quadrangular on April 1st. The four teams competed in windy conditions and the scores showed it.

Ainsworth Middle School Hosts Invitation Track Meet

The Ainsworth Middle School hosted the 2021 Ainsworth Middle School Invitational Track Meet on April 1st. The weather for the track meet was in the lower 60’s with south winds 15 to 20 mph.

Eden Raymond posted a 33’ 1” jump in the Triple Jump to take second individually and help Ainsworth into second place in the Triple Jump Relay.

Ainsworth High School Track Season Begins with 10th Annual Ainsworth Relays

After a long wait, it was great to see high school track and field again. The 10th Annual Ainsworth Relays were held at East City Park in Ainsworth on Friday, March 26th. Weather was in the mid-50’s and winds were from the south at 10 to 20 mph.

AHS Boys Golf Season Starts March 30th With Scramble in Valentine

SWC All-Conference Basketball Teams Announced

Coaches from the eight schools that make up the Southwest Conference have announced the 2020-21 SWC All-Conference Basketball Teams. The coaches nominate players and then vote to select first, second and third team players for girls and boys basketball.
