Beebouts Win Memorial Golf Tournament

The team of Brandon Beebout and Bruce Beebout captured the championship flight of the 11th annual Memorial Tournament Saturday at the Ainsworth Golf Course. The Beebout team carded a 5-under par 31 in the scramble round, a 3-over par 39 in the alternate shot and a 2-under par 34 in the best ball round to finish with a 4-under par total of 104 in the 27-hole tournament.

Commissioners and City Council Hold Meeting Regarding Sandhills Care Center Update Project

The Ainsworth City Council and Brown County Commissioners agreed to have the Sandhills Care Center Board of Directors pursue a feasibility study and market analysis for the construction of a new nursing home facility after an architect provided the group with options for either attempting to renovate the current building or moving forward with a new building.
