AHS Volleyball Team’s Record Moves to 2-9

The Ainsworth High School volleyball team traveled to Springview for the second time this season to take on the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades and the North Central Knights in a triangular. The Bulldogs won their first match against the Renegades in three sets (25-15, 25-23, 25-11).

Elks Two Person Scramble Tournament Results

Nick Martin and Kevin Martin shot an 8-under par round of 64 to win the championship flight of the Elks two-person scramble tournament Saturday at the Ainsworth Golf Course. The Martins finished four shots ahead of the runner-up Hammer and Hammer team from South Dakota.

AHS Football Team Falls to Sandhills-Thedford 24-33

On Thursday, September 4, the AHS football team traveled to Dunning to take on the Knights of Sandhills- Thedford. In the first quarter, Witten Painter scored a touchdown, putting six points up for the Dawgs.
