On Thursday, April 3, The Ainsworth Middle School track team hosted their home invite. On the girls team, two event titles were captured by Reagan Moody in the 800 meter run (2:38.48) and 1600 meter run (5:50.21).

During the 97th Nebraska State FFA Convention held April - in Lincoln, 913 Nebraska FFA members received their State Degrees. This achievement represents the highest degree the Nebraska FFA Association bestows upon its members, recognizing their dedication to agricultural education, leadership, and supervised agricultural experiences.

The last six months have been full of accomplishments for Kinsey Walz. In October, she was the 19 and under Breakaway champion at Oklahoma’s Richest in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

On Friday, April 4, Ainsworth High School’s track and field teams competed at a very cold and windy Plainview Invite. This is the Bulldog’s first time competing at this invite, and the team will be back in Plainview for the district meet in May.

On Friday, March 28, the Bulldogs competed at the Ainsworth Track and Field Invitational. Previously known as the Ainsworth Snowball Relays, the meet was turned into an invitational this year, to ensure more athletes were able to compete.

During his Spring Break, Carter Nelson made time to stop into the Star-Journal office and answer some questions about his first year playing for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Carter committed to the Huskers in late June of 2023, after visiting a plethora of schools he had been recruited to for their football programs.
