Ainsworth Community Schools Begins Classes on Thursday, August 13

Ainsworth Community Schools will open its doors to students for the 2026-27 school year on Thursday, August 13. The school has a host of new employees beginning this year.
Ainsworth Reclaims Border Cup

Ainsworth recaptured the Border Cup Saturday at the Ainsworth Golf Course, winning the annual match play event between members of the Ainsworth Golf Course and Bassett Country Club by a score of 15-1/2 to 9-1/2.
Chrome, Horsepower and Heart: Celtic Riders Rally Community for Kolter Mizner

The rumble of motorcycles and the spirit of generosity filled the roads of north central Nebraska on Saturday as the Celtic Riders hosted their annual Miles That Matter Poker Run, raising funds to help Ainsworth youngster Kolter Mizner and his family.
Century Lumber Held Summer Drawings

Century Lumber Center of Ainsworth held two drawings with entries taking place the last week of June and ending on Independence Day weekend. One drawing celebrated America’s 250th birthday.

The young kids were divided into three groups according to age, 1, 2 and 3 year olds; 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders; and 4 year olds, kindergarten and first grade. Each group was told how many eggs they could find so everyone would get the same amount.

We all want our kids to be back in school safely, and that means getting caught up on vaccines that were missed over the last year.
