City Council Opens Bids for Sellors-Barton Museum Renovation

During a special meeting Wednesday, the Ainsworth City Council approved two bids for rehabilitation work at the Sellors- Barton Cabin Museum. Wickett Construction of Valentine submitted a bid of $86,052 to replace damaged logs and repair the roof among other items.

Ainsworth Library to Participate in 'Fall Crawl'

More than 100 libraries across Nebraska are participating in the second annual Library Fall Crawl, taking place from Tuesday, September 1, through Monday, November 30. The Library Fall Crawl invites residents to visit libraries across 109 communities within the state of Nebraska, exploring new spaces, attending programs and discovering the many resources each library has to offer.
