Commercial Club Holds Second Chrismas City of the Sandhills Event

Kathy Worrell (left), a member of the Ainsworth Commercial Club, explains rules of the scavenger hunt to Ellie Conroy and her mother, Angie Welke. Participants picked up scavenger hunt cards from the Ainsworth Fire Department and were treated to hot cocoa, cider, and cookies before starting the scavenger hunt. The night originally called for fireworks, but with high wids, the firework display was cancelled. The winners of this year’s scavenger hunt were Kem Richstein and Cindy Buckles.

The Scavenger hunt took place in Ainsworth. Participants used the clues above to search for these displays in town. Many of these are still up, cut out the picture above and make a night of searching as the holiday season ends.
