Easter Egg Hunts Aren’t Only for the Young Ones

Helping with preparations for the Sandhills Care Center’s Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 29th, residents of the center helped fill plastic Easter eggs with candy. When the residents were done, 538 eggs were filled with candy and ready to be hidden outside. The temperature was 41˚ with wind gusts of 21 mph. Although the temperature wasn’t the warmest, the youth had fun hunting for the eggs to find out what was inside.

Young people weren’t the only ones to enjoy hunting for Easter eggs. Plastic eggs were hidden throughout the Care Center for residents to find. The Easter Bunny also made an appearance at the Sandhills Care Center.
