Where Do You Go With 14” of Snow?

One of the first casualties of last week's snow storm was a truck driver on Monday afternoon, January 2nd. The driver was turning into Speedee Mart and due to limited visability caused by heavy snow, he drove into a pile of snow, getting stuck. Brown County Sheriff's Deputy B.J. Nilson attempted to help the driver scoop out his truck. A front-end loader was finally rounded up to push the truck out.

It is always interesting following a snow storm to look at how Mother Nature uses wind to sculpture the snow.

Some residents were out in the storm and had to dig out their vehicles after getting stuck.

Areas like Ainsworth Community Schools are piled high with snow and have to decide whether to wait for the snow to melt or haul the snow out before another storm comes through the area.
