Word has been received of the passing of Kyle Irwin Treat age 57 of Ainsworth, Nebraska. Kyle Treat died recently at his home in Ainsworth.

Paul R. Lane, age 92 of Kearney, NE passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Brookstone Gardens in Kearney.

Memorial services for Morton Albert McBride, age 95 of Ainsworth, NE will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Ainsworth with Masonic Rites by the Silver Cord Lodge #224 AF&AM. Inurnment will follow in the Ainsworth Cemetery with Military Honors by Ainsworth American Legion Post #79. “Mort” McBride died Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth.

Murel Eugene (Gene) Ruther peacefully entered the presence of his heavenly Father on October 8, 2021 at the State Veterans Home. Gene was born June 27, 1929 in Valentine, NE, the son of Frank and Dorothy (Schroeder) Ruther. At an early age his parents moved to a farm southeast of Newport, NE, where he grew up and attended school in a one room schoolhouse, where the teacher taught all eight grades. He attended high school at Stuart, Newport and graduated high school from Bassett, NE in 1946.

A funeral mass for Robert Gude, age 95, of O’Neill, NE was held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill with Fr. Bernard Starman officiating. Burial was in the O’Neill Cemetery with military rites provided by the O’Neill American Legion Simonson Post 93. Bob passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.

Louisa Ellen (Williams) Weyer was born to Marion and Viola (Foster) Williams on December 7, 1941 in Pittsburg, OK. The family later moved to Rulo, NE where she grew up. She went to high school in Reserve, KS.

Enid Darline (Dubs) Kicken, 88, formerly of Shelton and Ainsworth, NE, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Brookstone Gardens in Kearney, NE. Enid was born on January 4, 1933 to Hans and Leola (Herzell) Dubs in Hyannis, NE.

Memorial services for Jonathan E. Hohn, age 58 of Ainsworth, NE, will be held at a later date.

Donna Jensen, age 80, of Purdum, NE, died September 24, 2021, at the Callaway Good Life Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.

Johnny Ray Brown was born on January 29, 1957 in Phillipsburg, Kansas to Alvin Ray and Dora Marie (Watkins) Brown. Johnny passed away at his home in Long Pine, NE on September 6, 2021. The first few years of his life he spent with his parents in Phillipsburg. Shortly after his brother Gary was born, he and his family moved to McCook, NE. In 1961, John received another sibling in his life, his sister Gina. John went to McCook Public Schools until he graduated in 1976. He then worked at Anderson Motors as a mechanic.
