Mars landing team ‘awestruck’ by photo of descending rover

CAPE CANAVERAL, FL (AP) _ The world got its first close-up look at a Mars landing on Friday, February 19, 2021, as NASA released a stunning picture of its newest rover being lowered onto the dusty red surface.

VALENTINE – Visitors to Merritt Reservoir State Recreation Area have a new place to gather the shade. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission recently installed a new 988-square-foot shelter at the Cedar Bay area.

Hare sentenced to Nebraska State Penitentiary

According to Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott, a 38 year old Merriman resident, Jesse L. Hare, was sentenced on Friday, February 19, 2021, in Cherry County District Court in the August 2020 shooting of his son, 20 year-old Logan Hare.
