Remember Those Less Fortunate When Giving Thanks This Season of Giving

On behalf of the Ainsworth Ministerial Alliance, Pastor Gary Graesser, would like to thank the community for its generous support of the Community Food Pantry over this past year. Jesus made it clear that the church’s main mission is to take the good news of God’s forgiveness and grace to this fallen world (Matthew 28:18-20). But it’s difficult to receive the ‘Good News’ if your belly is empty. The community food pantry is meeting a vital need in our area by supplying a box of non perishable food as well as a voucher for perishable items that will be honored at one of the local grocery stores. Needy residents in Brown and Keya Paha counties are eligible to use the pantry. Usage is limited to once a month.

Thanksgiving is almost here, and many of us can count blessings like friends, family and our communities. But what about our outdoor spaces, and all the benefits they bring – spaces to watch wildlife, to recreate, to destress and enjoy nature?
