The North Central RC&D will host a two-day tire collection event on April 28 and 29 at the Old Springview Airport located at 101 Airport Road. Tuesday, April 28, the event will run from 9 a.m.

Nebraska Extension is offering a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) and Beef Quality Assurance Transportation (BQAT) training on April 13, in North Platte at West Central Research and Extension Center. The event begins at 4 p.m. Anyone involved in raising or handling cattle is encouraged to attend.
