“Weekend to be Filled with Activities!” Saturday will be a busy day with Santa Claus coming to town, the Christmas pageant and collection of items for the Susie’s Christmas Wish project. There are ads throughout the paper for times on these events.

The Ainsworth High School Mock Trial Team won their regional competition and will be competing in the State Mock Trial Championships on December 11th and 12th in Lincoln. Team members are Cole Bodeman, Lura Hodge, Emma Kennedy, Brianna Starkey, Preselyn Goochey, Nelly Hoche, Erick Hitchcock, Jodie Denny, Kiley Orton and Ty Bolli.

During the regular meeting of the Brown County Commissioners on November 21st, the commissioners discussed possible rules and regulations for the Community Fishing Pond. A Community Fishing Pond has been located on county property south of East City Park and east of the Brown County Hospital.

The Ainsworth Women's Club has put together the 2023 Christmas Pageant Cast. Each year the music varies with additional special musical numbers.
