JoAnn Parker, superintendent of the floriculture division of the Brown County Fair, submitted these results. This year’s Best of Show winners were Roxanne Troxel - African Violet and Iris Sisson - Hydranga.

This past Tuesday at the American Legion post in Rushville, I was honored by Nebraskans for Founders Values (NFFV). They are a conservative citizen-led organization that helps get good bills introduced and passed in the legislature. They are a growing organization and they are becoming more effective each year. I am honored they chose to recognize me with the “NFFV Legislator of the Year” award.

Bright Horizons-Ainsworth office announced the Brown County Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store as the recipient of the “Outstanding Community Partner” award for 2023. Kendra Barry, Outreach Advocate for Bright Horizons said the Brown County Hospital Auxiliary President Judy Walton and the board of officers are committed to meeting the needs of families in the area.

The Ainsworth Community Schools Leadership Team presented the school’s MTSS journey at the 2023 Nebraska MTSS Summit held in Kearney on October 12-13, 2023. MTSS stands for Multi-Tiered System of Support and its purpose is to establish a framework to provide needed supports for all learners.
