    Ainsworth to Host Class D-3 Cross Country District Meet

    Ainsworth will play host to the District D-3 Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, October 11th. The meet will start at 2:00 p.m. at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course with girls competition and the boys will run at 2:45 p.m.

    Lady Bulldogs Pick Up One Win and One Loss During the Week Brings Season Record to 10-9

    Last week, the Lady Bulldogs travelled to Stuart’s Triangular on Tuesday, October 3rd, bringing home one win and one loss. The loss was against the Stuart Broncos, loosing in two sets, 21-25 and 21-25. The second match up of the night was taking on the North Central Knights, winning in three sets, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-16. This is the third time the Bulldogs defeated the Knights this season.

    Ainsworth FFA Host Fall Festival

    The Ainsworth FFA Chapter held its annual Fall Festival on October 8th in the Ag Shop. FFA members created games such as putt-putt golf, witch hat ring toss, bowling, corn hole, pumpkin beanbag toss, pin the spider on the web and haunted tic-tac-toe.

    From the back of our hands to the back of our legs, pale blue blood vessels are visible just under the skin. Oftentimes these veins are flat and not painful. However when these vessels become abnormally swollen or dilated, they are called varicose veins. This swelling is caused by the valves inside the veins becoming weak and no longer sealing tightly. Varicose veins can become painful, quite large and stick out from the surface of the skin.
