    Boys Golf Team Competes in SWC Tournament

    The Ainsworth Boys Golf Team was south of Kearney, NE near Axtell, NE at Awari Dunes for the the Southwest Conference Golf Tournament on May 4th. The Ainsworth golf team placed ninth out of nine teams, but Coach Julie Micheel said, “I was very happy with today’s results.

    KBR Leadership Academy Wraps Up Sixth Year

    The sixth class of KBR Leadership Academy graduated from the nine-month program on Wednesday, April 19th. This year’s class consisted of the following 14 participants representing our tri-county region: Tawny Allen (Brown), Raymond Angelilli (Keya Paha), Ashley Connell (Keya Paha), Zach Dickau (Rock), Kayla Fischer (Rock), Jennifer Hitchcock (Brown), Cameron Koch (Brown), Lori Morrow (Rock), Neida Painter (Brown), Kris Pickhinke (Rock), Rose Rowan (Keya Paha), Katelyn Shears (Brown), Rachel Stewart (Rock), and Jess Swan (Keya Paha).

    CSC Commencement

    Two hundred and seventeen Chadron State College candidates for undergraduate degrees and 58 candidates for graduate degrees were honored in the Chicoine Center on Saturday, May 6th. Graduates from Ainsworth were Gage Delimont with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mackenzie Kovar Bachelor of Science Cum Laude degree and Treyvin Schlueter Bachelor of Science Cum Laude degree.

    Ainsworth Community Schools Senior Dakota Stutzman shared what Fine Arts Means to her with this essay: “When I reflect back on my time in high school, some of my best memories come from Fine Art activities. From long bus rides to hotel sleepovers, there seemed to never be a dull moment. Throughout the years, I have been involved in mock trial, speech, oneacts, Thespians and journalism.
