  • Bargain Buyway brought strong winds to Brown County during the annual event held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 28th, 29th and 30th. Businesses and individuals throughout the area held special bargains to purchase. Some items were in their stores while some braved the winds and put their items out on the sidewalk. Bargain lookers were seen throughout town, trying to find some refurbishing items, antiques, or just an older unique piece that caught their eye and they couldn’t leave without buying it.

  • If shopping wore you out and you needed a bite to eat, several specials were held throughout the county. In this case, left, the Ainsworth Does Drove sold their famous potato toppers and some homemade desserts. Some places offered brisket sandwiches or pulled pork. If you had a sweet tooth, there were plenty of good home baked items that could be purchased. The E-Free Church had sweets on sale to help raise funds to put together their Christmas Shoebox Gifts they will do later this winter.
