  • Austin Beard, County Veterans Service Officer, introduced the local veterans and honored guests in attendance. He noted this was the first Ainsworth Veterans Day Program with no World War II Veterans in attendance. There are two who reside in the nursing home and were unable to attend.

  • Joe McMurtrey, an employee of Ainsworth Commuinty Schools, was recognized by the Ainsworth Middle School 8th Grade Social Studies class as this year's Adopted Veteran.

  • The senior members of the American Legion Junior Auxiliary Unit #79 are (Left to Right): Jayden Keezer, Maia Flynn, Madelyn Goochey and Alyssa Erthum. They presented the POW/MIA Remembrance Table Service, which symbolizes the toll of the burdens that families face when they cannot be with their POW and MIA family members.
