Area Students Receive State FFA Degrees in Lincoln

Over 900 students were awarded the Nebraska State FFA Degree at the 97th annual Nebraska FFA State Convention held March 2527. The State FFA Degree is the highest degree bestowed by the Nebraska FFA.

Area Hospitals Accept Donations Supporting Wildfire Efforts

The Rock, Brown and Cherry County hospitals have joined in a collaborative effort to support the many individuals, home owners, ranchers, and farmers affected by wild fires. The Rock County Hospital, using its relatively new “Partners in Life” program, helped formulate this effort to partner with other hospitals.

Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Holds Gala

The Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce held its Spring Fling Gala on Saturday, March 28. The event was complete with a raffle, silent auction, steak dinner, awards, and music by BJ Jamison.

Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met March 21 for lunch at Big John’s in Ainsworth. Four members answered roll call and made a donation to Read Aloud Nebraska/CASA project.

Ainsworth Elks Lodge Makes Donations

Ainsworth Elks officers recently presented grant funds to the Ainsworth Ministerial Association for the local food pantry, and another check to the Ainsworth Senior Center (pictured above) for their Meals on Wheels program.
