Brown County American Legion Post 79 Holds November Meeting

The regular meeting of American Legion Post Number 79 was called to order by Acting Commander Charlie Kyser at 7:30 p.m. with five members of the American Legion and one member of the Sons of the American Legion present.

November Firearm Deer Harvest Down 7% Statewide

Preliminary results from the 2025 Nebraska November firearm deer season show statewide harvest fell 7% from 2024, which was expected, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Harvest went from 28,056 last year to 26,029 this year.
