October 12 A traffic stop was made south of Ainsworth on Highway 7. The driver received a citation for driving 21 mph over the posted speed limit.

The Devastating Effects of Deception For the next couple of weeks I want to talk about the secret chambers of our conscience that contains our thoughts, emotions, attitudes, convictions, and basically who we really are. Some will say they wear their feelings on their sleeves and how transparent they are to everyone.

The Connection building on Main Street in Ainsworth is a ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. The Connection changed locations in May 2022, previously located where the Ainsworth Child Development Center currently sits.

Jeff and Judi Beddow of Ainsworth were recently announced as the world champion of the Clydesdale Mare Six-Horse Hitch competition. Jeff Beddow said the business started out small, with six horses, which turned into nine, and eventually 17.

The Brown County Community Foundation Fund celebrated 30 years of impact and progress to the Brown County area on October 17 during a celebration at the Ainsworth Conference Center. In 1994, several Brown County community minded citizens met to discuss the formation of the foundation.

The Ainsworth City Council met on Wednesday, October 8, in the Ainsworth Conference Center meeting room. Present were council members Dustin Barthel, Brad Fiala, and Kent Taylor.
