New Nebraska DMV Service Tracks Driver’s License and ID Deliveries

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles has launched an online service that tracks the production and mailing status of driver’s licenses and ID cards. The new service allows customers who have ordered a new license or state ID card to track their card while it is in transit.

2021 A.H.S. State Cross Country Qualifiers

Ainsworth High School qualified both the Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams for the Class D State Competition to be held on Friday, October 22nd in Kearney, NE. Team members competing will be: Class D3 District Championship Girls Team (Front Row - Left to Right): Preselyn Goochey, Emma Kennedy, Alyssa Erthum, Katherine Kerrigan, Maren Arens and Alternate Kylie Higbee; Class D3 District Runner Up Boys Team (Back Row - Left to Right): Alternate Logan Schroedl, Thomas Ortner, Trey Appelt, Ben Flynn, Ty Schlueter and Corbin Swanson.

Ainsworth Bulldogs End 2021 Football Season with 1-7 Record

The Ainsworth Bulldog football team ended its 2021 regular season on Friday, October 14th with a loss to Summerland in Orchard, 20-58. The Dawgs had a tough time moving the ball against the Summerland Bobcats in the first half and stopping Summerland’s offense.

Ainsworth Bulldogs Qualify for 2021 State Cross Country

With injuries and illness lurking in October, the task of making it back to Kearney for the State Cross Country meet got taller for the Ainsworth Cross Country teams. On Thursday, October 14th the Ainsworth teams responded with their best team efforts of the season and will head back to the State Cross Country meet on Friday, October 22nd.

Bulldog Volleyball Goes 4-3 During Busy Week of Competition

The Ainsworth Bulldog Volleyball team’s season record now sits at 15-12 after seven games in the past week of competition. The Dawgs traveled to Broken Bow for a triangular on Tuesday, October 12th, where they came away with a win against McCook and a loss against the host team Indians.

Ainsworth Cross Country Teams Compete at SWC

The Ainsworth Cross Country teams were back in action competing at the Southwest Conference Championships on the rolling terrain of McCook’s Heritage Hills Country Club on October 7th. The prior week the Bulldogs were off as heavy rains softened the Atkinson/Stuart Country Club course and a postponement date did not allow the Bulldogs to attend.

Ainsworth Middle School Cross Country Teams Finish Season at State

The Ainsworth Middle School Cross Country teams finished the 2021 season with a run at the Middle School State Cross Country Championships hosted by Papillion La Vista South High School on October 9th. The meet featured schools from all four classes spanning the entire state. Highlighting the day for Ainsworth was a 14th place finish on the girls’ side and 23rd place team finish on the boys.
