Seven Bulldogs competed at the state track and field meet on May 22 and 23. Kiley Orton 3200M - 12:58.85 - 20th 1600 - 5:53.78 - 19th Owen Blumenstock 200M - 23.95 - 22nd TJ - 39-11.75 - 20th Blumenstock, Fernandez, Evans, and Ortner 4x400M - 3:38.77 - 12th.

North Central sophomore Keian Fischer won the Class D-3 Boys Golf District Monday at the Ainsworth Golf Course by nine shots, carding a 2-under par round of 70. On his second hole of the day, Fischer recorded a holein- one on the par 3 second hole.

Doug Weiss and Brett Knoetzel shared the low round Thursday during a breezy night of men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Weiss and Knoetzel each posted 1-over par rounds of 37. Cody Goochey carded a round of 39.

On Wednesday, May 14, the Ainsworth Bulldogs travelled to Plainview to compete in the Class D-4 track meet. Seven Bulldogs punched their ticket to compete at the Class D Nebraska State Track and Field Meet on May 23 and 24.

Chadron State College has announced the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List and President’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of coursework, be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, maintain a cumulative gradepoint average of 3.5 or higher, and have no incomplete grades.
