Girls Team Scores 1. West Holt, 133.67; 2.

The State FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Convention took place in Lincoln at Pinnacle Bank Arena on April 6-8. Payton Moody and Ady Sears earned silver in Interior Design, Isabelle Arens and Miranda Lambrecht also received silver medals in Nutrition and Wellness. Addilyn Doke earned the title of State Champion in Fashion Construction and advances to Nationals in Orlando this July.

On April 23, the Ainsworth High School boys golf team travelled to O’Neill to compete in the O’Neill Invitational. The Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools based on their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity with Academic All-State Awards.

Ninety students have been awarded scholarships through the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Nebraska– Lincoln for the 202526 academic year. A total of $175,000 in one-time scholarships will support these aspiring builders in their pursuit of purpose and entrepreneurial growth.

On Saturday, April 12, Shawn Fernau Construction and Ainsworth Electric co-sponsored the Cancer Smackdown Softball Tournament. Several out of town teams along with a few local teams competed in the event.
