The Gregory City council held their regular meeting on Monday, November 6.

Gregory defeated Miller/Highmore- Harrold 60-14 on Friday November 3, 2017 to secure an opportunity to play for their second state championship in as many years and three of the past four years.

As a high school student in Gregory, Gary Karel loved sports, especially wrestling, and he loved to work with animals, but a word of advice from his local veterinarian was well-heeded.

Gregory defeated Irene-Wakonda 56-30 to win their second state championship in as many years. The game was played at the DakotaDome in Vermillion last Thursday afternoon in front of a Sea of Red.

Well folks, “we” did it! With “our” 56-30 drubbing of Irene/Wakonda in the Dome “we” capped off an outstanding 2017 campaign.
