A Vaccine Story for the Ages

Last summer we heard the prediction that by the end of 2020, we would have a safe, effective vaccine to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which had only been discovered, of course, in December 2019, before causing countless deaths and mayhem in the world as we knew it. I must admit, I was skeptical.

Carol Woods was very glad the Saturday evening and Sunday morning rain/snow mix missed us. It was great to have a nice sunny day on Sunday. Although it was chilly with the wind. The extreme cold and below zero weather is getting old. Carol’s brother, Jim Marsh of Ceresco, already had three inches of snow by 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 20 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on February 18th: 3 - Antelope, 0 - Boyd, 1 - Brown, 7 - Cherry, 5 - Holt, 0 - Keya Paha, 1 - Knox, 2 - Pierce and 1 - Rock.
