AHS Art Students Receive Accolades at Valentine Art Show

Ainsworth Art Students who attended the Valentine Art Show on April 6th were (Front Row - Left to Right): Kaitlynn Inbody, June Iturbide and Michelle Eick; (Back Row): Jaycily Johnson and Tami Cook.

AHS junior Kaitlynn Inbody stands next to two of her art pieces. The grey-faced woman with a lone tear is named Ophelia and was done in acrylic. It took first place. On the lower right is her second acrylic piece, which is extremely colorful and has the words “Good Bye” in the upper right corner. This painting received the Judge’s Merit.

AHS sophomore June Iturbide entered a ceramic lizard which received the Judge’s Merit award, and a ceramic hummingbird which received first place.

AHS sophomore Jaycily Johnson created a ceramic animal water fountain which earned her a first place. In second place was her ceramic Highland cow.
