Janice Fisher lived in Ainsworth during the 1950s and 60s while she raised her two sons Gordon (left) and Kevin (right) Summers, both of whom were diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) during a time when many modern handicap conveniences did not exist.
