Nebraska Antique Farming Association Holds 13th Annual Tractor Relay Across Nebraska

The Tractor Relay Across Nebraska rolled into the west side of Ainsworth around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th. Stretching across a mile, the tractor procession first headed to the Ainsworth Care Center, waving along the way to community onlookers.

Tractors sit in a line-up as the drivers enjoy a meal at the Ainsworth American Legion, where funds raised from that meal are used toward Operation Comfort Warriors and Gift for Yanks.

After the Nebraska Antique Farming Association members were done driving around town, they parked their tractors at Daniels Manufacturing south of Ainsworth and were given a tour of the facility. They spent around one hour checking out all the farm equipment that is made at Daniels.

Asitdowneveningmealwas provided by the Ainsworth American Legion and Auxiliary at the Legion Hall where the public was invited to greet the participants of the Nebraska Antique Farming Association. All donations for the meal will be presented to Operation Comfort Warriors and Gift for Yanks.

The back of the t-shirt said it all that one of the members in the group was wearing, “ NEBRASKA ... the good life with good friends and antique tractors!”
