Tornado West of Wood Lake Sets Off Sirens in Ainsworth

On Sunday, July 27, the tornado sirens sounded in Ainsworth. Several residents saw this funnel cloud drop down. The tornado was located in the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge. Shortly after being spotted, the tornado returned back into the sky. The city of Ainsworth did not receive any damage. (Photo Courtesy of Clint Painter)
