Unserviceable Flags Ceremony Performed by Ainsworth American Legion Post #79 on June 14th

Each year on June 14th, the Ainsworth American Legion Post 79 holds its Ceremony for Disposal of Unserviceable Flags outside the American Legion Hall. Each flag is checked before it is properly disposed of.

The purpose of The American Legion in adopting this ceremony was to encourage proper respect for the Flag of the United States and to provide for disposal of unserviceable flags in a dignified manner.
