Legislative Notes

Recently, 91 soldiers from C Troop, 134th Cavalry Regiment returned home to Beatrice from a spending almost a year deployed overseas to perform Operations “Spartan Shield” in Kuwait. I am so pleased the troops will be home for Christmas. That is such a blessing. I have spent several Christmas holidays overseas on a deployment and I know how incredible this must be for these solders. Well done C Troop!

School Board Extends Superintendent Hafer’s Contract for 2024-25 and 2025-26

Work Session The Ainsworth Board of Education met prior to the regular December meeting to allow the Board to discuss a variety of topics related to School Activities Niobrara Valley Conference, Conference Affiliation, Policy Review, and Buildings/Grounds. The Board reviewed options on joining or starting a new conference.
