Memorial services for Mary Ellwanger, age 70, of Gregory, SD, will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie View Gospel Barn, Gregory, SD. There is a visitation from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday night with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Prairie View Gospel Barn. Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Nora Lynn Left Hand Bull Emery (Anpetu Waste Win), 52, of Martin, SD peacefully passed away on February 14, 2021. Born to her parents Victor Left Hand Bull and Theresa Dale Big Crow Farmer, she was the eldest of seven.

Ted D. Hilderhoff, age 47, died Friday, February 5, 2021, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident outside Valentine.

Clarence Joseph Danielski of Valentine, passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 at the age of 91. Clarence died peacefully with his beloved wife Betty and his family by his side.

Joan Hughes, 90, of Winner, SD passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Winner Regional Healthcare Facility in Winner, SD. Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Mason Funeral Home in Winner, SD. Burial followed in the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Deloris Maxine (Stahl) Fox was born to Harry L. and Bessie O. (Fox) Stahl on October 6, 1926 at Bassett, NE and passed away on February 13, 2021 at Arbor Care Center in O’Neill, NE, at the age of 94 years, four months and seven days. The family lived on a farm in Rock County. Deloris attended a country school through the 8th grade. After that, she lived in Bassett and worked at the Abbenhaus Bakery. Several years after she started working at the bakery, the family moved to Newport where she met Glenn Lawrence Fox. They were married in O’Neill on October 26, 1947. They had two children, Glenn Lee and Linda. Glenn passed away suddenly in 1976. Deloris enjoyed baking and decorating wedding cakes and sewing clothes and doing alterations.

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Jeanne J. Nost, age 73, of Grand Island, NE, formerly of the Ainsworth area. Jeanne Nost passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Azria Health Broadwell in Grand Island, NE.
