On Thursday, March 11, 2021 Carol Avis McBride, 79, devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed from this world into the loving arms of God surrounded by loved ones. Carol was born April 6, 1941 at home north of Stuart, NE to James Hoffman and Margaret (Papke) Hoffman.

Molly B. Palmer was born in Valentine, NE to Robert “Bob” Charles Pavlik and Marietta Jane (Ramey) Pavlik on September 26, 1970. Molly joined her sister Robin and then in 1972 brother, Henry “Hap” Pavlik joined them. Molly’s early childhood was spent on the family ranch northwest of Crookston, NE. Her junior high and high school years were in the Lakeview, NE area. Molly graduated from the 8th grade in Lakeview. Molly graduated from the Todd County High School in 1990 and then attended Chadron State College where she met Corey Palmer. Molly and Corey married in 1992. Molly worked in various schools as an education Para. She also worked at North Star and then at Cottonwood Villa.

Mark Stanley Tuton was born March 4, 1960, in Chadron, NE to Stan and Ann (Gipson) Tuton. When his father, Stan Tuton graduated from Chadron State College, they moved to Veteran, WY. They lived there three years, where Mark welcomed his sister Brenda to the family. In 1963, upon his paternal grandfather‘s death they moved back to the family farm where Mark lived the rest of his school days. Little sister Amy Jo, (whom he named) was welcomed by him as his ‘favorite little sis’ in 1965.

Mrs. Helen Florence Townsend, age 95, passed away at The Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington, NE.

Funeral services for Mark Tuton, age 61 of Mitchell, SD, will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Mills Community Church, Mills, NE. There will be a private family committal service at a later date. There will be a visitation Wednesday night from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home in Gregory, SD.

Memorial services for Molly B. Palmer, age 50 of Springview, NE, will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Ainsworth. Molly Palmer died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Jolene Kay Walters was born March 1, 1948 in Orchard, NE to Esadore and Dorothy (Goulding) Cleveland. She passed away on March 1, 2021 at the Trailside Apartments in Ainsworth, NE.
