Ainsworth Bulldogs Defeat Kenesaw Blue Devils in First Round Class D 8-Man Playoffs

Ainsworth’s defense caused a Kenesaw fumble that was recovered by Owen Blumenstock with 34 seconds left in the first quarter. The next play, Traegan McNally connected with Carter Nelson in the end zone for a touchdown.

Late in the first quarter, Carter Nelson had 10 feet on the Kenesaw defender and Traegan McNally delivered a perfect pass to Nelson for a 65 yard catch and run touchdown. This was Ainsworth’s fourth touchdown of the first quarter.

It was a beautiful night for football as the Ainsworth Bulldogs defeated the Kenesaw Blue Devils 72-13. Residents from the Sandhills Care Center made the short trip to East City Park to cheer on the Bulldogs during the First Round Class D2 Football Playoffs.
