Area Youth Participate in Elks Hoop Shoot Contest

Local youngsters competed at the Ainsworth Elks Hoop Shoot held on December 7. Pictured above are the winners of each age group (left to right): Cecilia Zwiebel (8-9 girls), Carter Johnson (10-11 boys), Sutton Brodbeck (10-11 girls), Tiana Wroblewski (12-13 girls), and Blake Hansmeyer (12-13 boys). Hansmeyer made 18/25 free throws, the highest of the day. These athletes will have the chance to compete at the district hoop shoot on January 18 in Cozad.
