Bulldogs Travel to Omaha to Compete at State Track and Field Meet

Ainsworth High School sent eight athletes to the state track and field meet on May 22 and 23. These athletes were (left to right): Kiley Orton, Gracyn Painter, Willa Flynn, Christopher Fernandez, Logan Schroedl (4x400 Alternate), Jacob Ortner, Owen Blumenstock, and Zaine Evans.

Junior Christopher Fernandez hands the baton to freshman Zaine Evans during the 4x400 meter relay. The team of Owen Blumenstock, Christopher Fernandez, Zaine Evans, and Jacob Ortner placed 12th, running a time of 3:38.77.

Sophomore Willa Flynn threw shot put at the state meet, finishing in 14th place with a throw of 34-2.75.

Sophomore Gracyn Painter ran the 200 meter dash in 26.96 seconds grabbing an eighth place medal.
