Elks Lodge Hosts Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament in Ainsworth

The winning team this season consisted of (Left - Right); Nathan Kreickmeier, Brent Troya, Team Captain Nick Martin, Luke Brocksmith, Colton Munger, and Ryan Painter. The team went undefeated to win the tournament.

Cameryn Goochey was in charge of organizing the tournament this year. A 2023 Ainsworth High School Graduate, she now attends Wayne State College and is studying Sports Management. She says that the best part of organizing the tournament was working with the Elks. “They are very community-oriented which makes me proud to work with them!” Next year, Goochey plans to prepare more marketing opportunities in hopes the tournament will gain more teams.

Former Bulldog Basketball Coach, Harlin Welch, has been a regular at the tournament for years.
