Ainsworth Homecoming Set for October 13th

As AHS Homecoming week quickly approaches, Ainsworth Community Schools prepares for the week of events and dress up days. The overall theme is “Battle for the Bulldogs!” Activities for Homecoming Week starts on Monday, October 9th with Athletes vs.

Ainsworth Bulldogs Down Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack, 60-8

The score of 60-8 in Ainsworth’s defeat of Elgin/Pope John on Friday, September 29th was not indicative of the game. The Bulldogs were in Elgin to take on the 4-1 EPPJ Wolfpack to try to maintain their undefeated season and it turned out to be quite a dog fight.

Lady Bulldogs Go 3-1 on Week During Their Volleyball Outtings

The Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs started the week by welcoming the Burwell Longhorns into Lila McAndrew Gymnasium for a dual volleyball match up on Thursday, September 21st. A great match was played between the two teams, before Ainsworth lost in five sets, 27-25, 24-26, 25-15, 20-25 and 12-15.

Fall Trap League Results at Sandhills Rod & Gun Club

Fall Trap League was held for the third week at the Sandhills Rod & Gun Club on Wednesday, September 19th. Team standings after the second night found Mob County Boys still in first place.

Ainsworth Bulldogs Win Fifth Football Game With Defeat of CWC, 80-8

The Ainsworth Bulldogs won their fifth football game of the season with an 80-8 defeat over the Chambers Wheeler Central Renegades on September 24th and continued their undefeated season. Using four quarterbacks, seven ball carriers and five receivers, the Bulldogs gained a total of 519 yards and scored 80 points.
