Ainsworth Men’s Golf League

Kyle Jackman and Graig Kinzie fired 1-under par rounds of 35 during Men’s League Golf on Thursday, July 20th at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course. Logan Leach followed with a even par round of 36.

Ainsworth Women’s Golf League

With three weeks of Women’s League Golf remaining first place is still up for grabs with five teams within 10.5 points. The team of Kathy Worrell, Stephanie Kinzie and Julie Micheel remain in first place with a team score of 72 points after week nine on July 19th.

The NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) has announced the recipients of the 2022-23 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing outstanding achievement in the classroom by men’s college basketball teams and student-athletes.

Final Summer Junior Angler Fishing Clinic at Norden Chute

Join the Niobrara National Scenic River, the Friends of the Niobrara and Niobrara Valley Preserve for a fishing clinic at Norden Chute along the Niobrara River. The final clinic this summer will be on Saturday, July 29th at Norden Chute, near The Niobrara Valley Preserve, Norden, NE.

With only four weeks of Women’s League Golf remaining, the team of Kathy Worrell, Stephanie Kinzie and Julie Micheel continue in first place with a team score of 64.5 points after week eight on July 12th.

Brady Foster Wins Men’s Open

Fifty-two golfers competed Sunday in the annual Men’s Open Tournament at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course on Sunday, July 16th. Brady Foster of Bassett was this year’s Men’s Open champion, carding a 1-under par round of 71.

Ainsworth Men’s Golf League

Cody Goochey and Nick Martin fired 2-under par rounds of 34 during Men’s League Golf on Thursday, July 13th at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course. Dallas Fowler followed with a 2-over round of 37.

Ainsworth Women’s Golf League

The team of Kathy Worrell, Stephanie Kinzie and Julie Micheel hold on to first place with a team score of 62.5 points in week seven of the Women’s League Golf on July 5th. Women’s League Golf has now transitioned Match Play to Scramble Play for the remainder of the season.
