Fischer Announces Virtual Staff Local Office Hours for Local Counties

U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R- Neb.) announced today her staff is hosting virtual local office hours for constituents in Cherry, Keya Paha, and Brown counties on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. These office hours serve as a convenient opportunity for constituents to speak directly with Senator Fischer’s staff to receive help with casework and other issues at the federal level.

Northeast to Offer Professional Development Course in Change Management in Ainsworth

The Workforce Development Office at Northeast Community College will offer a series of professional opportunities in the coming weeks in Ainsworth to ensure that employees have up-to-date training which is essential to any successful business plan. Becoming a Northeast Nebraska Workforce Partner will put business owners and supervisors in a position to jump ahead of the competition by maximizing their training investment.

Roundhouse Project Completed

Beginning in September 2020, the Museum board began serious discussion of a long dreamed-of project for a kiosk type information display about the former roundhouse site. The NE Game and Parks, which owns the site was contacted and we were granted permission to proceed. The kiosk idea developed into a plan for multiple interpretive signs with photos.

The Ainsworth Wrestling Team hosted Duals on Friday, January 28th with Twin Loup and Todd County. Todd County Ainsworth tied Todd County with each team scoring 18 points.
