November Firearm Deer Harvest Lower Than Last Year

Preliminary Nebraska deer check-in numbers indicate statewide harvest is down 12 percent compared to 2020 for the November firearm season. During the nineday season, 37,053 deer were harvested, compared to 42,078 in 2020.

Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs Defeat Cody-Kilgore Cowgirls, 73-14

The Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs traveled to Cody for a December 7th basketball game against the Cody-Kilgore Cowgirls and came away with a 73-14 victory for their second victory of the season. Much like Pearl Harbor, it will be a game that will go down in infamy.

Ainsworth Football Moves to D2 for 2022-23 Seasons

Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced the 2022 and 2023 Football Classifications. With the new football classifications, the Ainsworth football program moves from Class D1 to Class D2 for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

AHS Sports to Start This Week

Middle School Wrestling and Girls Basketball have been going on since early November. Varsity sports start this week! The Ainsworth Boys and Girls Basketball teams take to the court on Friday, December 3rd with a trip to Ord and then travel to Gordon-Rushville on Saturday, December 4th.
